albania property investment
News Posted On: 27 April 2009
Overseas property portal Property Abroad has announced the addition of new overseas investment property in Albania. Albania has been in the news lately as big real estate investment trusts move into Eastern Europe, primarily focussed on Albania -- most recently 05 Feb 2009 with a big UK fund announced.
Property Abroad director and experienced property market analyst Les Calvert said:
"We have never stopped recommending Albania for property investment, as it has displayed an incredible resilience to the credit crunch. The entrance of these new multi-million Euro Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITS) confirms Albania as a destination worthy of overseas property investment, and at the same time makes investment there an even better prospect.
We are recommending that investors get in now while prices are still relatively low, because these big REITS have the power to practically ensure those who buy now profit greatly over the mid-long term."
Property Abroad have many investment properties in Albania, but one particular property in Tirana is particularly worthy of consideration, especially to those looking for an entry level investment. The new Kashar View development offers apartments in Tirana from just over 17,000. This is one of the few new developments around at the moment, and has obviously been given a low launch price because of the drop in sales caused by the credit-crunch.
There aren't many new luxury apartments in Tirana priced under £20k making this a real bargain, and also giving it immediate equity because when the apartments are completed they will immediately be worth what other like-for-like apartments in Tirana are. Apartments in Tirana are currently selling for between £35 and £40k.
Property Abroad also have some fantastic apartments in Saranda from just under £29,000. Saranda is a beautiful location raised on a hill overlooking the Ionian Sea and the Greek island of Corfu. The Saranda Vista offers affordable luxury in a place certain to become extremely popular with tourists.
The development consists of only 60 apartments in two blocks of 30. Only the first block is currently on sale, and there will certainly be a price increase on the release of block 2, so interested parties should buy now.
