Children of all ages can be very affected, so it is important to make the move as smooth as possible. We can provide information concerning the critical differences between the American and British systems, including how to explain children's British school grades to an American school, easier said than done! We spent ages on research and made numerous visits to different schools (the major reason why we settled in Sarasota, Florida), but were still favourably surprised by what we found on the school and college front, since being here.

There are probably more myths on the American education front than on any other issue, apart from crime. As an example, few people in Britain realize 20% of grading in Florida High Schools is for employability (good behaviour).
