austrian airlines announces flights to the middle east

Austrian Airlines has announced that it will run new routes between Vienna International Airport and destinations in the Middle East.
Herber Felber, Austrian Airlines' Middle East manager, told representatives of the media and travel industry that the scheme was fundamental to the company's corporate strategy, reports AME Info.
The carrier will run four flights a week to Jeddah and three to Riyadh, all of which hail from the firm's hub, Vienna International Airport.
Mr Felber said: "The new routes launched earlier this month, are an example of our commitment to a strong network in the Middle East. Austrian Airlines aggressive expansion plan is dedicated to serve this region."
Mr Lietner added that there has been a relatively new flow of traffic to Europe from the Middle East claimed local business and the tourist sector in Austria could benefit from the additional flights.
The new routes could be good news for those considering purchasing property in Austria as the European country will become more accessible to the rest of the world.
Austrian Airlines announced last week that it is now offering daily flights between Vienna and the Cypriot city of Larnaca.
