Barbados enjoys balmy tropical climate that is warmer and drier than other Caribbean islands. The constant sea breezes check the temperatures from swelling too much. The country experiences dry season from December to June, wet season from July to November with some brief showers. The average sunshine hours per day in Barbados are 8-10 from November to March and 8-9 from April to October. The visitors should be cautious during tropical storms and hurricanes season from June to November-end.

Required Clothing

The visitors are advised to wear lightweight clothes throughout the year. Rainy season is best enjoyed wearing light raincoats. Beachwear is generally avoided in towns.
