Overseas investors who buy property in Barbados could benefit from outstanding rental yields, it has been suggested.
According to Catherine Moye of Country Life, no country in the world can compete with the Caribbean nation in terms of rental income.
She explained that holidaymakers flock to the country from both the US and Europe.
Richard Eames, owner of Island Villas, said: "Think about $1,850 (£1,287) per night for a top villa in the peak season."
The expert noted that there are numerous cheap flights to the island, which gives it an advantage over other destinations in the region.
He added that the rental business in Barbados is thriving as many potential buyers are waiting to see what happens with the market.
This comes after estate agents Cluttons said the market is currently in a state of growth, driven by a strong economy and solid tourist trade.
