rising interest in barbados property

Overseas property portal has reported that interest in Barbados property is picking up again. The portal said that enquiries into Barbados property, which had been severely low in the past 6 months, had begun to pick back up again.
Les Calvert, director of the portal gave a possible reason for this upturn:
"Last week we noted a massive upturn in enquiries into Australia property, and now Barbados is seeing increased interest, neither country is known for bargain properties, so why the increased interest now?
Well, I believe that it is because many people got their fingers burned investing in "emerging markets", so now, more of the people who see the benefit of property investment are choosing to look in more secure markets."
"We haven't released a percentage on the rise, because of the lull in enquiries in the past few months, stating the astronomically high percentage rise would serve no useful purpose."
