Property abroad in Bulgaria has been identified as an improving market in Europe in terms of rental yields.
While business in the country has not necessarily expanded at the rate of the real estate industry and related areas of the economy, rent in Bulgaria is in the top 20 in Europe, reports the Sofia Echo.
In the last few years, the country has climbed 12 places, according to a recent report by Cushman & Wakefield.
Rent levels of industrial space in the country rose by eight per cent last year, making Sofia one of the leaders in Europe in terms of the growth of rents costs.
This weekend, the fifth Balkan Property Exhibition BalPEx will be held in Sofia.
Organisers say that more than one million projects and over 600 companies in the sector have been presented at the event in the last two years.
Among the topics that will be discussed are the state of legislation in the country as well as residential property and retail centres.
However, the focus of the event will be on "opportunities in times of crisis" reports Stroitelstvo Gradut.
