Potential buyers of property abroad have been encouraged to consider possible opportunities in Canada.
According to Shelter Offshore, the economic climate in the North American country is much better than in the UK.
Indeed, the online portal said the Canadian housing market has so far avoided the meltdown which has affected many other parts of the world.
This, it stated, is partly because property in the country was not overvalued to the same extent as other investment hotspots.
Shelter Offshore commented: "Place this alongside banks which have been operating with responsible criteria for home loans, and economists are predicting a house price readjustment and future property appreciation at more sustainable levels."
The website added that this is good news for investors who are planning to buy property in Canada.
This comes after NuBricks.com highlighted Ontario as a location which is highly popular with expats from the UK.
