Britons who want to relocate to another country have been encouraged to purchase a property in Canada.
According to Shelter Offshore, the North American country could offer a number of attractions to expatriates from the UK.
For example, the cost of property in Canada was said to have fallen in real terms over the last few months, therefore making it highly affordable.
"In Canada we Brits can still bag a property bargain," the website noted.
Shelter Offshore added that the Canadian dollar has not increased dramatically in value against the pound.
Therefore, expats who may not be able to set up home in countries with less favourable exchange rates could find Canada a suitable option.
However, Shelter Offshore recommended that if Britons do plan to relocate there, they should see whether they have marketable job skills which could make them an asset in certain locations.
This comes after NuBricks.com highlighted Ontario as a location which is highly popular with expats from the UK.
