Bargain Hunters Scour Cape Verde Property Market

News Posted On: 24 May 2010

Cape Verde property is set to benefit from a resurgence of low budget buyers, as people re-explore their choices in reflection of the new market reality - in other words: they scour markets where prices have fallen for bargains, even if those markets had previously been out-with their budget.

Cape Verde property is a similar tale to many such places; paradise holds its value even in a downturn. However, while prices haven't fallen per se, actual sales have fallen drastically, and anyone who has the cash ready to buy immediately can get a swift bargain with a clever offer.

Cape Verde is also benefiting from the return of investors, well, mostly holiday home investors; those who plan to rent out their holiday home either for security or to pay some or all of the bills. One thing Cape Verde has is growth potential.

The Archipelago, which lies in the Macaronesia ecoregion of the central Atlantic Ocean was a largely undiscovered paradise in 2004. During the next few years the combination of budget flights and the overseas property fly to let trend they gave birth to put places like Cape Verde on the map. However, Cape Verde property prices grew rapidly and quickly went outside the reach of most speculative investors. Again, these are now returning to see what they can do in the current market.
