prognosis for cape verdes tourism industry is favourable

The outlook for the future of tourism in Cape Verde is positive, an expert has claimed.
According to Ron Hughes, proprietor of Cape Verde Travel, the west African archipelago offers a number of attractions to leisure travellers, including a warm climate and close proximity to the UK.
The relatively short five-hour trip from the UK and the planned increases in the number of flights to the country this winter and next summer could make it an appealing destination for property investors.
Mr Hughes said: "The outlook, in time, given its surroundings, given its environment, i.e. the consistency of the weather, its reach to the UK only being just over five hours, is favourable."
He noted that the number of tourists travelling from Europe to the African nation was on the increase.
Adrian Lillywhite, managing director of Cape Verde Property, recently stated that the tourism boom being experienced in Cape Verde was boosting the nation's property market.
