tap into croatias budget rental market by buying property
News Posted On: 15 May 2009
A recent survey has shown that the majority of people who stay in rental accommodation in Croatia do so because of the good value it offers, which could be a good reason to buy property in the country.
Conducted by Dubrovnik Apartment Source, the study found that 72 per cent stay in rented villas or apartments because of the cost, while 15 per cent did so to enjoy a more "local" experience.
Some 85 per cent of those who opted for private properties instead of hotel accommodation during a short trip to Croatia said they would consider doing so again.
A customer called Tim told Dubrovnik Apartment Source: "I was able to stay in a very welcoming, comfortable, and well-decorated apartment for less than it would have cost me to stay in an antiseptic hotel."
Property buyers looking for a taste of the real Croatia as well as the chance to make a good return on their investment might wish to consider acquiring real estate in the country.
According to the Austrian Times, Croatia is a favourite destination among Austrian tourists.
