Health Care
Since, Czech Republic is a EU member, if any of the European travellers or their dependants is suddenly taken ill or has an accident while visiting the Czech Republic, they just need to produce a valid European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) to avail free or reduced-cost treatment. The EHIC also entitles this facility in European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland. For more information, please contact the Centre for International Reimbursements (www.cmu.cz/languages/en.htm).
The authorities in Czech republic strongly advise full travel insurance for all travellers to the country.
