czech republic property full of potential
News Posted On: 19 February 2009
The Czech Republic should definitely be looked at by property investors this year according to overseas property portal Property Abroad. Julie Liddle, the firm's emerging markets analyst said:
"The Czech Republic received a bit of press coverage during the boom times, and it attracted the attention of off plan developers who started to build developments in the country. But it never really got any widespread attention from investors and property buyers until it was too late.
Around about the end of 2007/2008 is when it began to attract some proper press coverage, and so it never really had time to reach its full potential before being stunted by the credit-crunch.
"While the Czech Republic is in recession as I speak, most forecasts for the country suggest an economic recovery in 2010. Its banking system has also not seen the systematic failure of some eastern European countries. Therefore, the potential for growth is still there that was last year, and the properties are still as affordable."
Property Abroad have some excellent properties in the Czech Republic. The portal has some particularly impressive offerings in the great city of Prague.
Priced from £25,168, Property Abroad's 1 bedroom off plan apartments in Prague are excellent investment opportunities, or even city-break holiday homes with excellent rental potential for when not in use. The Vltava Ridge Estate is beside a nature reserve yet only 10 minutes from central Prague.
Property Abroad's second most affordable Prague property is Trojska 1, in Troja, offering 1 bedroom Prague apartments from a little over £30k. The development benefits from its hill-top location above the Vltava River in northern Prague, and its residents benefit from some of the most breathtaking views in the world.
Troja is "Prague's green oasis" and as such it is a highly sought after location, within one of the most popular cities for tourism in the world. Trojska 1 is an entry level investment certain to see impressive mid-long term growth.
