The Czech Republic has its first ever dedicated and impartial mortgage comparison website. The website (Honzovahypoteka.cz) comes from the same people behind the broker-free property portal Bezrealitky.cz.
Jirí Paták of Bezrealitky.cz said: “Our vision is to make the Czech mortgage loan market more transparent, professionalize services of brokers and create a unique solution for financing of housing.”
Honzovahypoteka.cz cooperates with all the banks and with major financial companies on the Czech market that provide mortgages and savings bank mortgage products.
None of the agents or brokers receive client details, and it is free to those seeking mortgages, because revenue comes from commission paid by the brokers on mortgages sold.
There are currently some very interesting properties on the market in the Czech Republic, off plan units at knock-down rates, pretty swanky looking resale units and even some low priced commercial opportunities. As yet it is unclear whether or not the new mortgage comparison site will be available in English to help foreigners secure financing to buy overseas property in the Czech Republic.
But to be honest, at the moment most of the buyers active in the overseas property market, are cash-buyers because around the world mortgage markets are still heavily restricted. So the people behind the Czech Republic's first mortgage comparison site have some time before they need to worry about us Brits or English speakers anyway.
