egyptian property abroad popular with uk holidaymakers

Investors who want to buy property overseas in a popular holiday destination for Britons could benefit from purchasing a home in Egypt, it has been suggested.
A spokesperson from Midlands Co-op Travel said the country was one of a number of non-eurozone nations that was proving popular with leisure travellers from the UK.
"We have seen an increase in interest in non-euro destinations like Bulgaria, Morocco, Egypt and Turkey which offer better exchange rates," she commented.
When questioned about the fact that people are opting to travel further afield, she said "there may be an increase in popularity of Egypt".
This might be because the north African nation is relatively close to the UK and the currency rates are more favourable that the ones that can be found in countries using the euro.
Property buyers looking to rent out their homes could therefore find that Egypt is an attractive destination.
This comes after the Association of British Travel Agents revealed that Egypt was one of only two countries expecting to see an increase in visitors from the UK this year.
