For the people who have ever wanted a holiday home in Estonia, now is the time to buy, says overseas property portal Property Abroad.
Estonia property prices have seen among the biggest drop of all the Euro-zone, and as such the opportunity currently exists to bag a bargain, according to director Les Calvert, he said:
"Estonia was once a hot property investment destination, until prices peaked and other emerging European destinations priced it out of the market. Its growth was largely fuelled by growth in its tourism sector, and that didn't die overnight.
"For all those tourists who didn't buy a holiday home in their destination of choice, now is most definitely the time to do so. While advertised prices may look as high as they always were, vendors in the country are becoming more and more pliable when it come to their sales price, so incredible bargains are being picked up by buyers that aren't ashamed to haggle."
Property Abroad are currently advertising several properties for sale in Estonia, including: 2 bedroom apartments for sale in Parnu for £154,000.
That is already a bargain, but when you weigh the price against the development's central location, and the fact that its architecture is likely to make it a focal point it becomes an extra special buy. 1 bedroom apartments in the development are available from £64,000.
