capitalise on tourism in france with property abroad
News Posted On: 03 June 2009
France is one of the top tourist destinations in the world despite the downturn in the global economy - something that could benefit those buying property in the country.
According to data from the French ministry of economy, more than 80 million leisure travellers headed to destinations such as the Cote d'Azur, reports the Examiner.
It had a greater number of foreign visitors than top tourist spots such as Spain and America which came in second and third respectively.
This could mean that investors who want to rent out a property abroad could find that buying homes in France provide them with a larger number of potential tenants.
People who want a holiday home could also benefit from the quantity of people who might require short-term accommodation in France.
Those who buy property in France before June 17th could be able to take in some of the famous French culture at the Marseilles Festival.
The event takes place across the region and will feature a variety of events, including dance performances and theatre productions.
