investors might benefit from buying property in france

Investors buying property in France might welcome news that holidaymakers are becoming more discerning when choosing a break in the sun.
Ray Jones, head of communications at the Chartered Institute of Marketing, recently claimed that value for money is becoming a greater concern for those choosing a vacation.
People who own property abroad in France could find there is a greater demand for their homes among holidaymakers who would rather opt for low-cost self-catering than package breaks.
"People have become much more discerning about what they spend their money on. They are looking for real value for money," Mr Jones said.
Recent figures published by media consultants BLM found that 33 per cent of consumers have reduced their spending on holidays over the last three months.
This comes after Rupert Scott, a Brit who purchased a home in France, said that property in France offers UK buyers better value for money than houses in Britain.
