Brits considering buying property in France to visit during the school holidays might find apartments in Normandy a perfect choice, it has been suggested.
The Telegraph recently said that holidays in the region are being snapped up as families look for the perfect summer break.
Investors who want a buy-to-let purchase could also find that a Normandy apartment is a good choice as holidaymakers in the UK look to save money on their vacations by opting for self-catering rather than hotel breaks.
"The good news is that there seem to be plenty of options and extremely keen prices [on holidays] for families who are prepared to make the drive down to France," the Telegraph commented.
Brittany was also identified as a destination that is proving to be a particularly popular choice among families on their summer holidays.
This comes after Karen Tait, editor of French Property News revealed that prices in the country have fallen in recent months, which might make purchasing a home in France a more attractive option for investors.
