you as much information as possible we have compiled for
you a personal Q&A list. You will no doubt have many questions
and here we have provided a reply to the most frequently
asked ones. Naturally if you have more questions please

Q. How do I find out about buying a holiday home at a
siblu Parc in France?

us - for a free information pack, to ask questions, or if
you wish, to book a trip to France to inspect the Parc of
your choice and view the holiday homes on display.
Q. Where can I see the different holiday homes available
for France?
A. Each of the siblu Parcs has a permanent Holiday Home exhibition showground.
Q: Do the holiday Parcs belong to siblu?
A: Yes - siblu offers the widest choice of holiday Parcs
in France.
Q. What time of year can I buy a Holiday Home in France?
A. The sales offices in France are open throughout the year
and you can buy at the time that best suits you.
Q. If I buy in this spring, will my holiday home be ready
for me to use this summer?
A. Yes depending on the type of holiday home that you buy
and availability. It can all take as little as 3 weeks.
Q. Do you sell new and previously owned holiday homes?
A. Yes we sell both.
Q. How much does a holiday home in France cost?
A. Prices start from 16 200€ for a pre-owned model and from 26 707€ for a new model, subject to availability and destination chosen.
Q: What deposit is required on a holiday home order?
A: 20% of the total purchase price.
Q. What size are the holiday homes?
A. There is a wide range of sizes available. 40m² is the
largest available in France. They have 2 or 3 bedrooms and
sleep from 6 to 8 people.
Q. Can I let my holiday home?
A. Yes siblu offers a managed letting service for holiday
homes that correspond to the holiday brochure accommodation
categories, or you can let your holiday home privately.
Q: Is there an annual ground rent, and how much is it?
A: The annual site fees start now from
€3,555 at Le Bois Dormant . The annual site fees vary depending on the parc
and the pitch chosen.
Q: How is the site fee payable?
A: You can pay your site fees in £ sterling or in Euros.
Q: When is the rent due and is it due in one lump sum?
A: The rent is due in January and you can choose to pay
in one single payment or 2 payments.
Q: What other costs are there?
A: There is a one off installation cost of approximately
€790, gas is payable depending on usage. Water and Electricity
are free of charge during the holiday season.
Q: Can I use my holiday home all year round?
A: siblu parcs are non-residential and can not be used as
a principal place of residence. As an owner you have access
to your holiday home from mid February to mid November on
most of the siblu parcs.
Q: How long can I keep my holiday home on the Parc?
A: There is no limit on the length of time. The holiday
home must be kept in good condition and in keeping with
the smart appearance of the Parc and must conform to the
Parc Rules and Regulations for the well being of everyone.
Q: When are the facilities available?
A: All facilities will be up and running throughout the
holiday season and probably enjoy the longest opening periods
in France.
Q: How secure is the Parc?
A: There is a caretaker and all parcs have an entrance barrier.
Q: Are the holiday Parcs suitable for disabled people?
A: Yes, with the help of an able-bodied person. Specially
adapted holiday homes are available upon request and have
a ramp leading to the widened doors for wheelchair access,
a sliding widened door into the bathroom and a lowered kitchen
and sink.
Q: Will I be able to bring my pets?
A: Yes as long as they are not classed in the dangerous
pets' categories. The following types of dogs are not allowed:
American Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Akita, Wolfhound hybrid,
Japanese Tosa, Neapolitan Mastiff, Rotweiler, Dogo Argentino,
Fila Braseliero. We ask that pets be kept on a lead. In
France pets are required to have up to date vaccinations
and an identification tattoo.
Q: Can I resell my holiday home if I want to?
A: Yes, either to siblu or privately.
