The Beaches
There are three large sandy beaches in the village of Istron - Voulisma, Agios Panteleimon and Karavostasi.

Each beach has a different sand color and is sheltered from winds coming from different directions, always allowing for a calm swim even on the windiest day or for a nice day out wind surfing or sailing.


The international airport of Heraklion (with regular and chartered flights to all major destinations in the UK and Europe) is less than an hours drive from Istron.
