Overseas property investors have been encouraged to consider buying a residence in Hungary.According to BuyAssociation, second home buyers are increasingly looking for investment opportunities in new and emerging markets.However, the website believes that many are overlooking Hungary, despite the fact that it offers a number of attractions.Nevertheless, the number of foreign buyers entering the market has been going up steadily since 2004, when it became a member of the European Union (EU).BuyAssociation commented: "EU accession was the starting point for the growth in demand for property in Hungary."The online portal added that while Budapest is the main hotspot of activity, with nearly two-thirds of Hungarian real estate activity taking place in the city.This comes after research by the Property Investor Show found that 72 per cent of those who plan to invest abroad this year are looking at less-established countries.Overseas Property - serving the overseas property market since 1992
