goa offers excellent returns for investors

Goa could offer overseas property investors a chance to make significant returns on housing purchases.
According to EmiratesBusiness247, Goa has attractions for both lifestyle buyers and professional investors.
It said that the "paradise state" of India is known for its beaches, western influence and "ridiculously low prices".
The online news provider commented: "Riddled with government policies and local red tape, acquisition isn't the prettiest process, but its returns certainly are."
It recommended acquiring a sea or river view home within 15 km of one of the main towns, Panjim, Margao, Mapusa or Vasco.
While new-build homes are easier to find, EmiratesBusiness247 noted that it is possible to purchase Goan and Portuguese homes, which it describes as "idyllic with verandas and pillars [and] a garden full of fruit-bearing trees".
Leisure travellers and property investors could have easier access to India as Air India launches a new scheme to make air travel more attractive for passengers this month.
