Malta Property Worth A Look For Investors And Lifestyle Buyers

News Posted On: 07 April 2009

During the off plan buy to let boom that ended last year, many countries attracted a level of media coverage surpassed only by the level of new development. Many of those countries are now suffering from over-supply.

All the while, Malta, which is very popular with tourists, sat quietly in the background.

"For whatever reason, Malta was not the focus of dozens of new developments, and now, with no oversupply problems, the affordable resale properties in the country are well worth looking at for buy-to-let investors and of course holiday home buyers," said Les Calvert, director of overseas property portal Property ltd.

"We have absolutely gorgeous resale apartments in some of Malta's most popular locations, and our prices start from under £80,000," Les added.

Property Abroad are currently advertising dozens of properties for sale in Malta, including a spacious rustic style 2 bedroom furnished apartment in Paceville for £75,676.

Most of the Malta properties advertised on the portal are resale properties; however most regions seem to be covered.

In fact the portal has a vast array of properties in Malta, including 2 farmhouses for sale, one in Dingli, and one in Gozo, both for under £300,000.

"We have one of the most comprehensive databases of Malta properties for sale of all UK based overseas property portals," Les finished.
