An increasing number of people from the UK are choosing to invest their money in property in Morocco, it has been claimed.
According to a recent study, the growing ease of access to the north Africa nation coupled with a wealth of culture and consistently warm climate is making it an attractive destination for property buyers from the UK, reports the Telegraph.
The newspaper suggested that Morocco is being viewed by many buyers as a country with similar opportunities to those offered in Spain 30 years ago, except development is being more controlled.
Morocco is also undergoing a number of major infrastructure changes - such as transport improvements - which are making it more appealing to buyers.
There are a number of new rail and road connections and it is still possible that an under-sea tunnel to Spain will be built at some point in the future.
Ryanair is launching new flights to Morocco's popular coastal resort of Agadir later this month.
