bargains available for those buying property in new zealand

People who plan to buy property abroad in New Zealand could be able to snap up relative bargains, experts have suggested.
According to Ray White Real Estate, house prices in the country have fallen by eight per cent in the last year.
The firm believes that this, combined with the slump of the New Zealand dollar against the euro, could create opportunities for international property buyers.
Rosemary Schulte, spokesperson for the firm, said luxury properties in particular are becoming more affordable.
"This is the perfect storm where the international luxury home market forces are converging simultaneously," she commented.
Ms Schulte added that that this could have long-term benefits by stimulating greater overseas demand for New Zealand property.
This comes after Global Visas highlighted the country as a hotspot for lifestyle buyers from the UK, such as those who plan to live abroad permanently.
