Pharmacies that operate 24 hours a day can be found in all major cities. Some hotels also have a nurse on call.
The authorities in Poland strongly advise full travel insurance for all travellers to the country, including the cover for adventure activities.
Travel Advice
From time to time, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in the UK issues Travel Advisories for visits to Poland. Accordingly, most visits to Poland are trouble-free but the global threat from international terrorism can never be ruled out. Therefore, the travellers should take adequate precautions while visiting the places of tourists’ interest in Poland.
Visitors would do well to take care while travelling, as there have been instances of robbery on rail and bus journeys.

Passport
Passports are required by the nationals of all countries except the EU nationals holding a valid national ID card and. Such EU nationals are only required to produce evidence of their EU nationality and identity in order to be admitted to any EU Member State, including Poland. Identity can be proved either by a valid a national passport or any valid national identity card.
Passport is valid for at least three months beyond the required length of stay.
Visa
Visas are not required for the nationals of the abovementioned countries for stay up to 90 days.
Note 1: For EU nationals, visas are not required at all.
All visitors entering he country must possess sufficient funds (at least Zl300 per day) to cover medical expenses (or a valid insurance policy or official invitation is acceptable instead) and Zl100 per day for accommodation and sustenance.
