economic improvement in portugal could tempt property buyers
News Posted On: 21 May 2009
Investors considering buying property abroad in Cascais might be encouraged to learn that the economy in Portugal has been tipped to start growing again this year.
The country's finance minister Fernando Teixeira dos Santos told Reuters that the recession is likely to end this quarter, which could be welcome news for prospective property buyers.
Mr Teixeira dos Santos commented: "I think the Portuguese economy is now passing through the worst moment and I think that as of the second half we will start seeing positive signs."
With an upturn in the economy in Portugal, the property market could be set to receive a boost.
This might mean that now is a great time to buy property in Cascais because as the market gets stronger, prices could start to rise.
Travel Daily News recently said that visitors to Cascais can enjoy beaches, monuments, gardens, theatres, walks and views and discos.
