executive considers property abroad in portugal

A property investment expert has revealed that he is considering purchasing a house or flat in Portugal.
Mike Sales, head of property investments at Henderson Global Investors, told Reuters that the Iberian nation was where he would be acquiring a home in the future.
The real estate professional said that he would be looking for a piece of land that was either east or west of the Algarve.
"I am looking at a piece of land there with a couple of friends because it is a quarter of the price of the Algarve," he commented.
As well as offering reasonable prices, property in Portugal could provide a number of lifestyle benefits.
According to the Irish Times, the Algarve offers a warm-climate and the Portuguese property market is generally stable and reliable.
It said that property in the country is generally of a high build quality and that this benefit "shouldn't be underestimated".
