Singapore has signed an open skies agreement (OSA) with Romania to allow greater flexibility on air services - news that may be of interest to overseas property investors.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore announced the move on Friday November 21st.
Romania's OSA with Singapore allows carriers to operate a number of passenger flights between the eastern European country and the Asian nation.
With greater access to a range of destinations via Singapore, one of the biggest transport hubs in the world, property investors could benefit from a higher level of demand for rental accommodation.
The extra flights could prompt greater investment in Romania and allow owners of property in the country to check on their purchases.
In related news, Financiarul.ro reported that Romania is the third biggest European market for Malev airport in Hungary.
