3 bed house on the Eastern Province
The house is sold with contents from cutlery to bedding a complete list can be supplied seperately.
The house has brilliant views of the sea, beach and river. The beaches are unspoiled and empty most of the year round, a mere hop and skip to paddle, swim, windsurf, fish off the beach or rocks. Approximately 5-6 mins walk or 2 mins in the car from our doorstep to the sand and sea. Situated in the peaceful Bay of Birha. It is popular during the season and possible to make a living renting throughout the year. Situated approximately 80 kms from east london, and 50 kms Port Alfred, province of Eastern Cape.
Eastern Cape has one of the most equitable climates and is warm the whole year. (the lowest temp. i have recorded this winter is 12c. and 4th july water temp. was 22c.) we watch the whales frolicking from our balcony, dolphins splashing through surf, and the sardine run has just occurred, with all the drama which that occasions. The sunsets are outstanding. There are two popular hotels nearby, one serves wonderful champagne buffet breakfasts at the weekends and the other has an international golf course. Driving to Port Alfred you pass several game farms and watch the rhinos, giraffe, and deer from the side of the road. Monkeys are everywhere! there is a restaurant/teashop 5-6 mins drive from the house open 7 days a week, excellent food plus a furniture making shop with gifts. Friendly neighbours. Perfect the whole year round.
