South Africa has been identified as a good vacation destination for UK leisure travellers on a budget looking to stretch their pound further.
The rand is now 12 per cent weaker against sterling than it was last year, which makes it more affordable for UK visitors, according to the Herald.
While flights might be relatively expensive, the low cost of living and travelling once in the country could still make it an attractive holiday option.
"A beautiful climate, staggering scenery and chance to experience a safari make modern South Africa a dream destination," said the Herald.
The publication identified Table mountain as one of the "must-see" attractions in South Africa.
It said that those who venture to the top can see as far as Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope.
Berry Everitt, managing director of Chas Everitt International, believes that the rising interest from foreign property investors could help boost the market in South Africa, reports Property Wire
