Owners of rental property in Spain could find demand for their services remains very high this year.
Recent currency fluctuations have led to a surge in bookings for non-eurozone destinations such as Turkey in recent months, but YouTravel.com believes the Spanish market is holding firm.
Paul Riches, sales and marketing director at the firm, described the country as a long-time stalwart of the British travel industry and one that is likely to remain popular with people from the UK for years to come.
"It's going to take more than currency fluctuations to put Brits off travelling to these destinations," he observed.
Mr Riches added that Spain is popular with British holidaymakers partly because it is a familiar location that is easily accessible from the UK.
This trend is likely to be welcomed by owners of property in Spain, as many of those who let out their homes depend on rental yields to generate returns on their investment.
Earlier this week, Primelocation.com reported that Spain is attracting more interest among prospective foreign property buyers than any other country.
