Now could be the ideal time to buy property in Spain because the market is currently in a state of stagnation, it has been claimed.
According to a spokesman for property-hunting bus tour organiser Circulo Financiero Internacional (CFI) there are opportunities for real estate investors to be found along the Costas.
The firm asserted that all of the properties on its tours were "real bargains" and that some developments have had as much as 50 per cent taken off the price.
NuBricks.com asserted that it is now easier for those buying property to pick up low-cost purchases because banks are more amenable to negotiation on property prices.
"The market is stagnating and developers need to shift new homes that in some cases they have built and paid for or are being repossessed or belong to the banks," CFI commented.
Those who buy property in Spain could benefit from the number of cheap flights to the country from the UK, as was recently highlighted by Queen Sofia, who took a low-cost Ryanair flight to London.
