Spain remains one of the most popular destinations for people considering buying property, recent figures have revealed.
Data from real estate listings network Mondinion.com revealed that Spain was one of the most searched for nations over the last month.
Barcelona on the Costa Brava was identified as a particularly popular location with those searching for property abroad in the Iberian peninsula.
Zoltan Baranyai, founder of the network, commented: "As the holiday period is coming, more and more buyers and investors are looking for popular vacation destinations such as Spain, especially Marbella, Barcelona, Alicante."
NuBricks.com recently claimed that now is a good time to purchase property in Spain because the market is stagnating.
The online portal advised buyers to try negotiating with banks about property prices as they might be more amenable to discussion than they have been in the past.
