bargain properties in thailand excellent investment opportunity
News Posted On: 10 March 2009
Recent reports have indicated a recovery in the low-end property sector of the Thailand property market; with an abundance of new developments being initiated at the beginning of 2009. These low end properties are being bought by Thailand citizens, while the luxury and high end sectors continue to struggle, devout of the level of international interest that existed even 10 months ago.
Because of this new reality facing developers and sellers of property in Thailand, investors are currently faced with an opportunity to buy luxury -- high end -- property, at low end prices, and thus to be ideally placed to make a great profit when the international recovery takes place. The international buyers that have been forced to sell property in Thailand present further opportunities for bargain buys.
No one believes that the recession will last forever, and in fact some parts of Asia have not fallen into recession, with economic growth expected only to slow this year. This means that when economic growth slowly restarts in Europe and around the world, which is expected in 2010, the boom will be restarted in Asia.
That said, investors who purchase properties in Thailand at their current low prices, will see rapid price growth; with buyers returning from within Asia, and once again increasing levels of interest from international buyers.
Property Abroad are currently advertising dozens of properties for sale in Thailand at prices surely lower than they would have been 8-10 months ago.
The portal is currently listing a 3 bedroom house in Chiangmai on a sizeable plot of land for just £35,811 - incredible, even more so when you see the pictures. The portal is also advertising a 2 bedroom villa on the tropical island paradise of Koh Samui for just £35,772. No one can deny that bargains like that present an incredible opportunity sure to appreciate in value rapidly over the next 3-5 years.
