The decline of the pound against the euro is prompting increasing numbers of Britons to opt for holidays and second homes in countries such as Turkey.
According to a recent Telegraph survey, the economic downturn is not preventing people from booking breaks overseas.
However, many are opting to travel to non-eurozone nations to get the best value for money.
This could be good news for overseas property investors looking for a second home that they can rent out in the months they are not using it.
As more people aim to take advantage of low-cost holidays outside of Europe, rental accommodation may be in higher demand in nations such as Turkey.
TheMoveChannel.com recently stated that Turkey is about to enter an era of change due to the large demand for property in the country.
It noted that the nation is improving its infrastructure and accessibility in a bid to appeal to more tourists and investors.
