investors advised to think about buying property in turkey

Buying property in Turkey could prove to be a good strategy for UK investors looking to profit from rentals, according to one local market expert.
The property market slump in the UK has persuaded some investors to look elsewhere, only to discover that the strength of the euro has made good deals difficult to find in traditional destinations.
However, it is a different story outside the eurozone, where the weakness of the pound is less of an issue.
Turkey is one country where investors can still hope to profit, according to Janet Schofield of developer Nicholas Homes.
She told the Independent that demand for rental accommodation in popular tourist areas is strong because holidaymakers have latched on to the fact they can get more for their money if they choose Turkey ahead of more established destinations.
Ms Schofield suggested the same applied to people buying property and added: "Prices haven't gone up lately, and there are definitely good deals, such as two-bedroom apartments from around £40,000."
