Turkish Rental Market Benefits From Tourism

Turkey's rental market looks likely to benefit from a significant increase in visitor numbers this year.
Online travel agent TravelRepublic has revealed that many British consumers plan to visit the European country during the bank holiday weekend.
Dalaman was identified as one of the main hotspots for tourists, as bookings are 260 per cent up on this time last year.
This means that demand for rental accommodation in the region will be significantly higher than it was 12 months ago, potentially benefiting people who own property in the area.
Paul Furner, managing director of TravelRepublic, observed: "The recent erratic weather has led to a defined spike in interest in getting away for the bank holiday."
This comes after M&S Money revealed that there has been a 53 per cent year-on-year increase in sales of Turkish lira in the UK.
The Post Office has also witnessed greater demand for the currency in recent months.
